Unibad safety covers

Unibad automatic swimming pool covers consist of hollow synthetic sections (anti-U.V. treated PVC). All submerged metal components are made of stainless steel, bronze or PVC. They save on maintenance products and heating costs. Their use, combined with a handrail (existing pool) or pool lip (new pool), will provide you with more safety.

Les FAQ
Safety
  Does it provide safety?

The UNIBAD cover, when extended and used in conjunction with either a safety lip or a handrail (see article below), undeniably provides good safety. For more than 40 years, and without waiting for legislators to finally look into the problem, UNIBAD has been offering a floating cover which even withstands a child accidentally falling onto it. Nevertheless, the cover must still be fully deployed in order to offer this level of safety. On the other hand, the UNIBAD cover, even though it can withstand the weight of a man, is not designed for walking on, nor especially for use as a play area. Finally, the UNIBAD cover is not a toy and any use of the cover whilst swimming is strictly forbidden.

Safety lip (planned when building the pool). This lip provides support for the cover when a sufficiently heavy weight falls on the cover. Under normal conditions, the cover does not rest on this lip.

The stainless steel handrail can replace the lip in existing pools which are not fitted with a lip. In addition, it provides something to hold on to for handicapped persons, young children, etc.
For reasons related to watertightness, this handrail can only be installed in pools with solid walls (concrete)

PVC curtain
  What colours are available?
How long do PVC curtains last?
A UNIBAD curtain is expected to last an average of 15 years, but it is not uncommon for it to last 20 or even 25 years.
Is it possible to change a slat ?
Thanks to our exclusive watertight process applied to each slat, each one can be dismantled by sliding it sideways, which is not possible with plugs glued at the ends.
Slats are sold in batches of 20.
Accessories
  Can a ladder be installed?

UNIBAD sells special ladders which allow the cover to pass through. For reasons of watertightness these are only installed in pools with concrete walls
