By installing an automatic cover on your pool you will reap numerous benefits: heat retention, a longer bathing season, less maintenance and fewer pool care products for your indoor and outdoor pools.
Unibad offers two types of top range automatic covers for your pool in the Var, the Maritime Alp region and anywhere in the world.
We have a range of slat colours: standard colours are blue, white or pearl grey. Options can be added for a beige colour, as well as polycarbonate solar slats (to heat the pool water): clear, clear blue, or two-tone blue (the underneath is black in order to avoid photosynthesis which leads to algae formation).
1. SUBMERGED SLATTED POOL COVERS
A discrete and aesthetically pleasing submerged pool cover is ideal for joint fitting with your architect as your pool is being constructed.
Other types of submerged automatic covers exist but are less frequently chosen by our customers.
Several submerged cover systems exist: the main ones are:
- Traditional submerged slatted cover
- Inpool submerged slatted cover
- Submerged guiding rail slatted pool covers
- Deck submerged slatted pool covers
- Pool floor sumberged slatted cover
2. ABOVE-GROUND SLATTED POOL COVERS
Easy to install, above-ground slatted pool covers need no or very little masonry. They are generally fitted in a day and no work is done on the pool itself. This automatic above-ground pool cover system is more suitable for existing pools.

AUTOMATIC POOL COVER
The slats used to manufacture our automatic pool covers are all made of hollow profiled PVC or polycarbonate.
Our exclusive sealing technique which traps the air inside, gives unique buoyancy and insulates efficiently thanks to the air caught inside the slats. This insulating property retains the pool’s heat and is indispensable if it is equipped with a heat pump. It avoids high heat loss during the night and in case of wind, and prolongs the bathing season. More importantly for inside pools, pool covers are indispensable for avoiding condensation and purifying the air sparing the permanent use of your dehumidifier.

OF YOUR POOL
As far as possible, all our automatic pool covers adjust to the majority of pool shapes. Our automatic submerged covers may only be installed on concrete pools, fibreglass and vinyl liner pools may only be equipped with automatic above-ground slatted pool covers.
Highly qualified technicians do all our fitting.
We mainly fit and install automatic pool covers in the cities of the Var and the Maritime Alps regions in France: Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Antibes, Saint-Paul de Vence, Sainte Maxime, Fréjus/ Saint Raphaël, Menton, Grasse and the surrounding areas.

See our projectsBy using a proven mechanical system for over fifty years, we greatly facilitate our after sales service in case of failure. It also helps us to very rapidly diagnose any failures. Our high responsiveness and a reduced selection of spare parts are our strength, all our equipment is based on the same operating principles.
All our reeling compartments also have a filtration system and a treated water supply to avoid contaminating the pool water. We calculate the compartment’s dimensions according to the pool size and the system chosen by the customer. Our motors are in a dry pit with a man hole or a machine room adjacent to the cover compartment.
